Art Noir at Villain Arts Tattoo Festival - San Diego

Villain Arts employs a distinctive design tailored to each location hosting their tattoo festivals. Adenna proudly showcased a booth at the San Diego, CA venue in August 2023. The overarching concept involved creating graphics for social media and promotional materials inspired by Villain Arts’ signature California tattoo artwork. Drawing upon the contrast of Art Noir’s urban themes and the coastal aesthetic of San Diego, my goal was to seamlessly blend these elements into an American traditional tattoo style of illustration.
With social media in mind, I aimed for a consistent visual identity across all posts. To achieve this, I arranged the waves to create a seamless transition from one artboard to the next. Additionally, outlining each artist photo with a graphic line served to integrate them harmoniously with the illustrations.
At each new tradeshow, the Art Noir Sponsored Team proudly showcases table tents to notify patrons of their availability for appointments throughout the event. Each display is meticulously crafted to align with the visual identity of the show, providing a cohesive presentation. As a thoughtful touch, artists have the option to retain these displays for their own use after the conclusion of the event.
